Brand: ADC

The ADC VLM mkII (ADC stands for Analog-to-Digital Converter) is a high-performance digital audio conversion board designed by the Norwegian company Marlin Digital Audio. The VLM mkII is an update to the original VLM model, which was introduced in the late 1980s. The mkII version includes new components, circuit topology, and signal processing algorithms that improve the resolution, dynamics, and noise performance of the board. The VLM mkII is capable of converting analog audio signals at up to 192 kHz sampling rate with a resolution of 24 bits. It features a low-noise preamplifier stage, a shuttle clocking circuitry for Jitter reduction, and a crystal-controlled clock to provide maximum accuracy and stability. The board is designed to fit into a standard 19" rack-mount enclosure and can be used as a standalone unit or as part of larger digital audio systems. It is commonly used in high-end professional audio applications such as recording studios, broadcast facilities, and post-production houses.
