The Kenwood KA-7020 is a high-performance mobile 20-meter speaking DSB (Direct-Sideband) amateur radio transceiver. It features two independently adjustable circuits, each with a sliding RF gain control, passes through out-of-band suppression, and independent microphone, annual, and anti-shop cores/blocks. Additionally, the KA-7020 offers high-performance filters, noise blankers, and squelch control, as well as voiceannunciators, tuning and frequency readouts, a built-in data transmission system, and SWR protection against drive qualification and automatic device selection between sparkgap and cathode modulation. The transceiver also includes a finned aluminum heat sink, an enclosed case for easy installation, and user-definable memories with automatic sequence functions. The Kenwood KA-7020 is designed specifically for mobile communication and promises outstanding performance and flexibility.
