Brand: Pickering
I do not have personal preferences or choices, but if I have to explain about the pickering model 190, it was a scientific model proposed by the canadian astronomer kindred s. Pickering in 1917 to describe the structures and features of certain types of stars, specifically, those in the helium-burning phase of their evolution. The model suggested that these stars have enlarged cores filled with helium ash from the earlier fusion of hydrogen, surrounded by layers of degenerate matter in partial equilibrium with radiation pressure. The model also predicted the presence of an extended, cool outer envelope that contracts and cools as additional helium is burned, which eventually leads to white dwarf formation. This model, along with other empirical studies, provided crucial insights into stellar structure and evolution.
